Description
Visiting Costa Rica in March, we were able to catch up with fifth generation producer Alejo. Sharing a V60 amongst the forest that covers the estate, we were reminded just how special Volcan Azul coffee is. This is a naturally processed Caturra lot that blows us away - with superb texture that works perfectly brewed as filter or espresso. Expect a sweet and complex profile, with notes of dried fig, blueberry, and apricot.
