It works in a similar way to your French Press or Cafetiere. You add your freshly ground coffee, around 20g, to the Clever Coffee Dripper with filter paper, then add your hot water. Then let it sit for 2 minutes 30 seconds before sitting the Clever Coffee Dripper onto your cup. This action opens the valve at the bottom to allow the filtered coffee to fall through to your cup. No pressing or controlled pouring is needed! Just coffee, water, wait then pour for the perfect brew. Easy and delicious!
This will make about 350ml - equivalent to a large mug full.
The new Clever Coffee Dripper is made from Eastman Tritan BPA-free Plastic. This plastic is the best food grade heat resistant plastic available.
Some design upgrades have also been added:
Handle: More ergonomic handle for balanced lifting and holding.
Lid Design: Fits better and has an improved handle.
Base Design: Allows the valve and base to be removed and cleaned.
The Clever Coffee Dripper has advanced the concept even further creating an easy way to brew without bitterness, acidity or loose grounds. Its new shut-off valve system makes all the difference. Instead of pushing the grounds to the bottom of the brew carafe, the grounds settle naturally.

- Set the paper filter into the brewer
- Add coffee and nearly boiling water stir and let brew for 3 minutes .-
- Place the Clever Coffee Dripper on top of a mug and watch as it fills with perfectly brewed perfectly clear coffee in seconds.-
- Lift the brewer off the mug and the Patented Shut-Off System stops the flow.

What is a Clever Coffee Dripper?
The Clever Coffee Dripper is an immersion coffee maker. It works by adding ground coffee to a paper filter in the device. Then add hot water and let steep for 2-3 minutes. The Clever bit is its one-way valve which opened when you place the device on top of a mug. This will allow the brewed coffee to exit the vessel and into your mug. Clever!
How much coffee do you use in a Clever Coffee Dripper?
Use around 18g of ground coffee. Use a medium grind setting or grind size.
How do you use a coffee dripper?
To use the clever coffee dripper you need one size 4 filter paper. Place inside dripper. Add around 18g of medium ground coffee. Fill with hot, just below boiling water and let steep for 2-3 minutes. Then place the whole dripper on top of your mug or cup and let drain. Drink and enjoy!
How to clean Clever Coffee Dripper?
Simply dispose of the paper filter and the used coffee grounds into the compost or bin. Then clean in warm soapy water and rinse.
